Fresh Tomato Salsa - cooking recipe
Ingredients

5 medium tomatoes, diced
1/3 c. tomato sauce
1/4 c. finely chopped purple onion
1 or 2 small jalapeno peppers, seeded and minced
2 Tbsp. minced fresh cilantro
1 Tbsp. minced fresh oregano
2 Tbsp. lime juice
1 tsp. salt
Preparation
-
Combine all ingredients, stirring gently, cover and chill. (You may substitute parsley for the cilantro.)
Yields 3 1/2 cups.
