Party Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. crushed pineapple
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 boxes jello (lime, cherry or lemon)
    2 small pkg. Philadelphia cream cheese
    1 c. chopped walnuts
    1 c. celery (optional)
    2 c. cold water
    1 large container Cool Whip
Preparation
    Boil together the pineapple and sugar for 5 minutes.
    Remove from heat and add jello, cream cheese, walnuts, celery and cold water.
    Next, add Cool Whip.
    Put in a large baking dish and refrigerate for 24 hours.
