Scandinavian Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can French-style green beans, drained
    1 can English peas, drained
    1 jar pimentos, chopped
    1 large onion
    2 c. celery
    1 c. vinegar
    1 c. sugar
    1/4 c. oil
    2 Tbsp. water
    dash of salt
Preparation
    Mix the vinegar, sugar, oil, water and salt; put in a quart jar and shake up.
    Pour over vegetables.
    Let stand overnight. Drain 1 hour before serving.
