Applesauce Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
3/4 tsp. ground cloves
1 c. raisins
1 c. applesauce
1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Cream shortening and sugar, then add eggs.
Beat thoroughly. Sift dry ingredients together and add raisins.
Add flour mixture to batter alternately with applesauce.
Mix well.
Add nuts.
Pour into a greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan or Bundt pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 50 minutes.
