Sweet And Sour Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 c. chopped cabbage
    1 green pepper
    1 chopped onion
    1 c. vinegar
    1 c. Crisco oil
    2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. celery seed
Preparation
    Put cabbage, pepper, onion and sugar in bowl; let set for 1 hour.
    Boil vinegar, oil and celery seed and pour over cabbage mixture.
    Mix well.
    Add pimentos for color (optional).
    Will keep up to 2 weeks.
    Refrigerate in airtight container.
