Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. Crisco
    3 c. sugar
    6 eggs
    3 1/2 c. plain flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream Crisco and add sugar. Mix until pretty creamy. Add eggs 1 at a time and mix after each. Sift flour before measuring. Mix dry ingredients together and then add a small amount at a time, alternating with milk until all has been added, scraping sides of bowl while mixing. Add vanilla and put into a greased and floured tube pan. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour. Remove from pan and cool on rack. Makes a big cake.
