Ingredients

1/3 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. milk
2 well beaten eggs
2 c. cooked rice
Preparation

Combine all ingredients and pour into lightly oiled 1 1/2-quart baking dish.
Sprinkle with nutmeg or cinnamon if desired.
Place in pan of water and bake in moderate oven at 350\u00b0 about 50 minutes or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
