Refrigerator Corn Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen whole kernel corn
    1/3 cup sugar
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/2 c. vinegar
    1/3 c. cold water
    1/4 c. chopped celery
    1/4 c. chopped green or sweet red pepper
    2 Tbsp. chopped pimiento
    1 Tbsp. dried minced onion
    1 tsp. ground turmeric
    1/2 tsp. dry mustard
    1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cook corn according to package directions; drain.
    In a saucepan combine sugar and cornstarch.
    Stir in vinegar and water. Stir in corn, celery, pepper, pimiento, onion, turmeric, mustard, and salt.
    Cook and stir till thickened and bubbly.
    Cook and stir for 2 minutes more.
    Cool.
    Cover and store in the refrigerator up to 4 weeks.
    Serve with beef, pork, or poultry.
    Makes about 2 1/2 cups.
