Marbled Orange Fudge - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 tsp. plus 3/4 c. butter (no substitutes), divided
3 c. sugar
3/4 c. whipping cream
1 (10 to 12 oz.) pkg. vanilla or white chips
1 (7 oz.) jar marshmallow cream
3 tsp. orange extract
12 drops yellow food coloring
5 drops red food coloring
Preparation

Grease 13 x 9 x 2 pan with 1 1/2 teaspoon of butter.
In a heavy saucepan, combine sugar, cream and remaining butter.
Cook and stir over low heat until sugar is dissolved.
Bring to a boil. Cook and stir for 4 minutes. Remove from heat and stir chips and marshmallow cream until smooth.
Remove 1 cup and set aside.
Add orange extract and food coloring to remaining mixture.
Pour into pan.
Drop reserved mixture by spoonfuls over top.
Cut through with knife to swirl.
Cover and refrigerate until set.
Cut into squares.
Makes 2 1/2 pounds.
