Sweet-Sour Shelly Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 strips bacon (1/2-inch pieces)
    1/3 c. onion, finely diced
    1 lb. can Green Giant shelly beans (Bush's)
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1/8 tsp. salt
    a few grains pepper
    2 Tbsp. white distilled vinegar
Preparation
    Brown bacon lightly with diced onion.
    Add liquid drained from beans.
    Cook down to about 1/2 cup liquid.
    Add remaining ingredients and beans.
    Cook until soft.
    Serves 4.
