English Pea Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 c. celery, diced
    1/3 c. onion, chopped
    1/3 c. green pepper, diced
    2 to 3 Tbsp. butter
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1/4 c. milk
    1 (20 oz.) bag frozen peas
    1 (4 oz.) can water chestnuts, drained
    1 small jar chopped pimentos
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    soda crackers
Preparation
    Saute celery, onion and green pepper in butter.
    Dilute soup with milk and add to vegetable mixture.
    Combine all ingredients, except cracker crumbs.
    Pour into 1 1/2-quart buttered casserole. Top with cracker crumbs.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 50 to 60 minutes.
