Fruit Cocktail Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 egg
    1 (1 lb. 13 oz. size) can fruit cocktail
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients.
    Pour into 9 x 13-inch ungreased pan. Top with 2/3 cup brown sugar and 1/2 cup chopped nuts.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 to 60 minutes.
    Best served next day.
