Soft Gingersnaps - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. heavy cream
    1 1/4 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. + 2 Tbsp. molasses
    4 1/2 c. flour
    2 tsp. ginger
    2 tsp. lemon rind
    1 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Whip cream.
    Add remaining ingredients except flour.
    Stir 10 minutes.
    Add flour and stir until smooth.
    Cover and refrigerate overnight.
    May be rolled 1/4-inch and cut into shapes.
    Place on lightly greased cookie sheet.
    Brush with water before baking in 300\u00b0 oven.
    Bake 8 to 12 minutes.
    Leave on cookie sheet to cool. Decorate if desired.
