Italian Sausage Sauce For Spaghetti - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. hot or sweet Italian sausage
    1/2 c. water
    2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 bay leaf
    1 Tbsp. parsley, chopped
    salt and pepper
    1 lb. can tomatoes (2 1/2 c.)
Preparation
    Cut sausage into 1-inch pieces.
    Cook in large pan in 1/4 cup water until water evaporates and sausage begins to brown, about 10 minutes.
    Add onion and parsley and cook until it's yellow.
    Add 1/4 cup water and remaining ingredients.
    Bring to boiling point and simmer, uncovered, 1 1/4 hours stirring occasionally.
