Royal Plum Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. raspberry gelatin
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1 c. boiling water
    3/4 c. cold water
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/8 tsp. ginger
    1/8 tsp. cloves
    3/4 c. finely chopped, pared apple
    3/4 c. raisins
    1/2 c. well drained, crushed pineapple
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
    1/4 c. chopped pitted dates
    2 Tbsp. currants (optional)
Preparation
    Dissolve gelatin and salt in boiling water.
    Add cold water, cinnamon, ginger and cloves.
    Chill until slightly thickened. Fold in apple, raisins, pineapple, pecans, dates and currants. Pour into a 4 cup mold.
    Chill until firm.
    Unmold; serve with Brandy Hard Sauce.
