Mama G'S Buttermilk Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. shortening
    2/3 c. buttermilk or 2/3 c. milk plus 2 tsp. white vinegar
Preparation
    Mix all dry ingredients with shortening. Add milk. On a floured surface, roll out until approximately 1/4-inch thick. Cut with a floured cutter. (I use a drinking glass because it's easier and less messy.) Place on an ungreased cookie sheet. Cook at 450\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
