French Breakfast Puffs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/3 c. shortening
    1 egg
    1/2 c. milk
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. ground cinnamon
    6 Tbsp. butter or margarine, melted
Preparation
    Lightly grease 12 muffin cups; set aside.
    Stir together flour, baking powder, salt and nutmeg; set aside.
    In mixing bowl, cream together 1/2 cup sugar, shortening and egg.
    Add flour mixture and milk alternately to the creamed mixture, beating well after each addition.
    Fill prepared muffin cups 2/3 full.
    Bake in oven at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes or until golden.
    Remove from oven.
