Egg Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 or 4 slices bread (not toasted)
1 doz. eggs
1 lb. sausage, bacon or ham
2 c. milk
salt and pepper
3 to 4 oz. grated Cheddar or American cheese
Preparation

Butter 9 x 13-inch casserole dish; line with 3 to 4 pieces of bread.
Beat eggs and milk together.
Add cheese to mixture, then crumble in the meat.
Pour over bread and refrigerate overnight. Bake at 350\u00b0, uncovered, for approximately 40 minutes or until knife comes out clean.
Should resemble a custard in consistency. When done, cut into squares and serve.
