Festive Spoon Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (8 oz.) pkg. mixed dried fruit
2 c. water
3/4 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. allspice
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. soft margarine
1 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. milk
1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
-
Cut fruit into small pieces.
Combine with water, 3/4 cup sugar, lemon juice and allspice in a medium skillet.
Boil 10 minutes (medium heat).
Cover and set aside.
Stir together, by hand, 1/2 cup sugar and margarine.
Mix dry ingredients.
Add alternately with milk.
