Chocolate Torte - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. butter, softened
    3/4 c. unsweetened cocoa powder
    1/2 c. milk
    3 1/2 c. sifted powdered sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 (7 1/4 oz.) pkg. rectangular shaped butter cookies
Preparation
    Line a 9 x 5-inch loaf pan with waxed paper; set aside.
    To make frosting, in a bowl beat butter.
    Add cocoa powder.
    Beat in 1/4 cup of the milk.
    Gradually add powdered sugar, beating until combined.
    Beat in remaining 1/4 cup milk and the vanilla until combined.
