Potato Pancakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. uncooked white potatoes, grated
    3 eggs, separated
    1 1/4 c. sifted flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 Tbsp. grated onions
Preparation
    Peel potatoes; wash
    and
    grate
    fine.
    Drain.
    Add egg yolks, flour, salt
    and
    onions.
    Fold
    in
    stiffly beaten egg whites; mix well.
    Spoon
    on
    a griddle that has been greased, or a large frypan that has been greased.
    Brown on both sides. Make cakes thin.
    Serves 5 to 7.
