Barbecued Clams - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 doz. small to medium clams
    1/3 c. catsup
    1/4 lb. very sharp cheese
    4 strips lean bacon
Preparation
    Open raw clams.
    Loosen all parts of clam from shell and keep on half shell.
    Place in baking
    pan that has 1 1/2 to 2-inch sides.
    Place about 1/4 teaspoon of catsup on each clam. Next put 1/2-inch slice of cheese and top with 1/2-inch slice of bacon.
    Broil until bacon is crisp, about 5 minutes.
    Serve with crackers and a salad or may be used as an entree.
    Makes 2 to 4 servings.
