Buttermilk Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    3 tsp. baking powder
    3 tsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. shortening
    3/4 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Stir dry ingredients together in deep bowl.
    Cut in shortening until mixture looks like crumbs.
    Add buttermilk all at once and stir until mixture clings together.
    Roll to 1/2-inch thick and cut.
    Bake at 450\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
    Makes 10 to 12 biscuits.
