Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 1/2 c. sugar
    3 small pkg. chocolate chips
    1/2 lb. butter
    1 large can evaporated milk
    3 c. nuts
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix chips, vanilla and butter in a large bowl and set aside. Heat sugar and milk in a double boiler and boil until that can't be stirred down.
    Boil 6 minutes, stirring constantly.
    Pour boiling mixture over chips, vanilla and butter.
    Mix well and pour into a 9 x 13-inch buttered cake pan.
    Cut into squares when set.
