Polish Noodles And Cabbage - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. minced onion
1 small head cabbage
1/4 c. oleo
1 tsp. caraway seeds
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. black pepper
1 box (8 oz.) broad noodles
Preparation

In a large skillet over moderate heat, melt butter.
Saute chopped onions for 2 minutes.
Add shredded cabbage, caraway seeds, salt and pepper.
Toss to mix and cook 5 to 8 minutes (or until cabbage is crisp-tender), stirring occasionally.
Meanwhile, cook noodles in boiling salted water following package directions. Drain.
Toss with cabbage mixture.
Serve at once, piping hot. Good with meat loaf, pork chops or pork roast.
Very tasty with salmon loaf.
