Barbecue Sausage - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. smoked sausage
2 (16 oz.) bottles flavored barbecue sauce
1 onion, chopped
1 bell pepper, chopped
2 cloves garlic, finely minced
1 small bottle ketchup
1 capful liquid smoke
3 to 4 drops hot sauce
Preparation

Saute sausage; pierce to drain fat.
Remove sausage.
Drain and slice into 1/4-inch thick diagonal slices.
Drain sausage fat from pan except for 1 to 2 tablespoons.
In a pan, saute onion, bell pepper and garlic until soft.
Return sausage to pan.
Add sauces, ketchup, liquid smoke and hot sauce.
Cook, covered, for 15 to 20 minutes over low heat.
Serve in fondue or crock-pot.
