Sub Kum Chop Suey - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. butter
    2 c. (1 lb.) lean pork, cut in thin strips*
    1 c. onions, cut fine
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    2 c. celery, cut in 1-inch pieces, then into thin strips
    1 1/2 c. hot water
    1 can La Choy bean sprouts, strained (can use vegetable flavoring and thickening)
    2 Tbsp. cold water
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    2 tsp. soy sauce
    1 tsp. sugar
Preparation
    *I use beef stew meat cut in small pieces.
