Wild Rice Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. wild rice
    1 lb. hamburger or ground turkey
    1 c. diced onion
    1 diced green pepper
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1 (4 oz.) can mushroom stems and pieces (with juice)
    3 Tbsp. soy sauce
    1 1/2 c. hot water
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
Preparation
    Rinse wild rice and cover with boiling water and let stand, covered, for at least 2 hours.
    Make sure water covers rice by 1 to 2 inches.
    Brown meat, onion and green pepper in butter.
    Do not season!!
    Add soup, mushrooms, soy sauce and hot water.
    Use water rice soaked in and put soy sauce into it.
    Rice should have been drained.
    Add rice to other ingredients.
    Bake in large casserole for 1 1/2 hours in 300\u00b0 oven, covered.
    Uncover and bake for 1/2 hour more.
    May sprinkle with slivered almond, if desired, just before serving.
