Champion Date Salad(In Honor Of "Hal Dale") - cooking recipe
Ingredients

8 oz. cream cheese
1/4 c. pancake maple syrup
1 c. chopped dates (Bordo diced dates are best)
2 c. miniature marshmallows
1 c. chopped pecans
1 c. pineapple tidbits, drained
1 small container Cool Whip topping
Preparation

Soften cream cheese and beat in maple syrup until creamy.
Add dates, marshmallows, pecans and pineapple.
Stir until all is blended well.
Fold in thawed Cool Whip.
Let cool in refrigerator for 30 minutes so flavors will blend before serving.
Great the next day, also; ready to serve anytime after, at least 30 minutes.
