Beer Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 lb. round steak
    2 Tbsp. butter
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 pkg. dry onion soup mix
    1 c. beer
    2 Tbsp. vinegar
    1 c. celery
    2 carrots, sliced
    1/4 c. tomato sauce
    1/4 tsp. thyme
    dash parsley flakes
    1 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation
    Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
    Add steak and brown on both sides.
    Season with salt and pepper.
    Remove from skillet and place in a shallow baking pan.
    Mix together soup mix, beer, vinegar, celery, carrots, sugar, tomato sauce, thyme and parsley flakes.
    Pour over steak.
    Bake covered in 300\u00b0 oven for 2 hours and 30 minutes or until steak is tender.
