Ashley'S Tea Cakes(Given To Me By Betty Kerby) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/4 c. self-rising flour
1 1/8 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening and 2 Tbsp. margarine (room temperature)
1 egg, beaten with a fork
1/2 Tbsp. sweet milk
1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
1/2 tsp. butter flavoring
Preparation

Cream shortening, butter and sugar together.
Add eggs and beat.
Add all
other ingredients.
When you roll out dough, so not get too thin.
Cookie will be softer if not too thin.
I bake mine 7 minutes in a 325 degree oven.
Sprinkle with sugar when removed from oven.
