Sweet And Sour Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/3 c. sugar
    1/2 c. catsup
    1 c. pineapple juice
    1/2 c. cider vinegar
    4 Tbsp. soy sauce
    4 Tbsp. cornstarch, dissolved in 1/3 c. water
Preparation
    Add sugar, catsup, pineapple juice, soy sauce and vinegar in a heavy skillet and bring to a boil.
    Add cornstarch mixture all at once, stirring constantly.
    The mixture will thicken and become translucent.
    If you want, you can add 1 cup pineapple chunks to sauce.
    However, the sauce freezes very well, but not with the pineapple in it.
    Makes 1 1/2 to 2 cups.
