Pork Chops And Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. rice
    8 oz. canned mushroom slices plus juice from can
    1 small onion, chopped fine
    1 tsp. oregano
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 can beef consomme (no water)
    6 to 8 center cut pork chops
Preparation
    Mix rice, mushrooms, onion
    and
    oregano in 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
    Salt and
    pepper both sides pork chops.
    Arrange pork chops over rice mixture.\tPour
    1
    can beef consomme soup over top. Cover and bake 1
    hour
    or\tuntil
    chops
    are done. Remove cover to brown chops last 15 minutes.
