Shrimp Fra Diablo - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 tsp. olive oil
    1/4 c. minced onion
    4 cloves garlic, crushed
    2 chili peppers, split and seeded
    1/2 c. tomato paste
    1/2 c. lemon juice
    1/2 c. red wine vinegar
    1 c. water
    1 Tbsp. low sodium soy sauce
    dash of hot pepper sauce
    1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper
    1 1/2 tsp. minced fresh basil
    1 3/4 lb. shrimp, peeled and cleaned
Preparation
    Heat the oil in a large skillet.
    Add the onion, garlic and peppers; saute for 5 minutes.
    Add the tomato paste, lemon juice, vinegar, water, soy sauce, hot pepper sauce and cayenne pepper. Simmer, uncovered, for 10 minutes.
    Cool to room temperature. Stir in the basil.
