Cranberry Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 to 16 oz. fresh cranberries
    rind of 2 oranges, grated
    1 c. ground (pared) apples
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. cherry Jell-O
    1/2 c. cherry Jell-O
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
    1 c. granulated sugar (add 1/2 c. more if necessary)
Preparation
    Dissolve the Jell-O in just enough boiling water to make a paste (1 to 2 tablespoons).
    Mix all other ingredients except sugar into the Jell-O paste.
    Measure the results of mixture and add 1 cup of sugar for every 1 1/2 cups of mixture.
    Top with garnish (green leaves and berries).
    Stores in refrigerator very well.
