Vegetable Meat Loaf - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 egg
1 1/2 lb. lean ground beef
1/2 c. fine bread crumbs
1 medium onion, chopped
3 large carrots, chopped
3 stalks celery, chopped
2 Tbsp. parsley
1/2 tsp. ground sage
1/4 c. catsup
2 Tbsp. brown sugar
1 tsp. dry mustard
Preparation
-
Mix first 8 ingredients and form into a loaf.
Place on a rack in the pan so fat will run off.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 60 minutes. Fifteen minutes before done, top with mixture of catsup, brown sugar and dry mustard.
Serves 6.
