Ranch Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head lettuce
    2 or 3 tomatoes
    1 onion, sliced
    1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    1 small pkg. Fritos
    1 can Ranch Style beans, rinsed and drained
    3/4 bottle Kraft Catalina (French) dressing
    1 lb. ground beef, browned and seasoned to taste (optional)
Preparation
    Prepare lettuce, tomatoes and onion as you would for tossed salad.
    Add beans.
    Chill.
    Just before serving, add the cheese, Fritos and meat (if used).
    Toss well.
    Add Catalina dressing and stir to completely coat salad.
