Mystery Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. flour
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 egg, slightly beaten
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 can fruit cocktail
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. broken nuts
Preparation
    Sift flour; add sugar, soda and salt in bowl.
    Combine egg, vanilla and flour (undrained).
    Add to dry ingredients.
    Mix well. Pour in 6 x 10-inch dish.
    Sprinkle with brown sugar and nuts. Bake at 325\u00b0 for 40 to 45 minutes.
