Easy Pecan Pralines - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. regular butterscotch pudding mix
    1 c. granulated sugar
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. evaporated milk
    1 tsp. butter
    1 1/2 c. broken pecans
Preparation
    Mix the ingredients except pecans in a heavy saucepan and cook and stir over low heat until the sugar dissolves.
    Add pecans; cook and stir until a full over boil; reduce heat and cook slowly 3 to 5 minutes, stirring often, until candy reaches soft ball stage (test in cool water).
    Take off heat until thick, but shiny. Drop by teaspoonful onto wax paper.
    Makes about 24 patties.
