Rhubarb Custard Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large yellow cake mix
    2 c. sliced fresh rhubarb
    1/3 c. sugar
    2/3 c. half and half
Preparation
    Prepare cake mix according to directions.
    Pour into greased 12 x 8-inch baking dish.
    Top with rhubarb; sprinkle evenly with sugar.
    Slowly pour half and half over top of rhubarb.
    Bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 50 to 55 minutes, or until firm.
    Serve warm or chilled with whipped topping if desired.
    (Frozen rhubarb can be used, but must be thawed before adding to cake batter.)
