Chocolate Toffee Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. butter or margarine (room temperature)
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 325\u00b0.
    Lightly grease an 8-inch or 9-inch square baking pan.
    Beat butter and sugar 5 to 8 minutes or until light and fluffy.
    Stir in flour to make smooth dough.
    Knead dough evenly in bottom of greased pan.
    Prick dough with a fork.
    Bake 35 to 40 minutes or until golden brown
