Rice Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c uncooked rice (not minute rice)
    2 1/2 c milk
    1/2 c sugar
    1/2 tsp salt
    1 tsp vanilla
Preparation
    In medium saucepan, heat first 4 ingredients until boiling; reduce heat and simmer for 1 hour or until milk is almost gone and rice is tender. Stir in vanilla. Raisins can be added with vanilla.
