Sugar Cut-Outs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. powdered sugar, sifted
    1 c. soft margarine
    1 egg
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 tsp. soda
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream sugar and butter; add egg and vanilla.
    Sift together flour, cream of tartar and soda.
    Add and mix well.
    Chill dough. Roll on floured surface.
    Flour cookie cutter and rolling pin. Bake at 375\u00b0 on lightly greased cookie sheet until light brown (about 7 minutes).
    Cool; frost with Frosting for Sugar Cookies.
