Ranch Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. brown sugar, packed
    2 1/2 c. water
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 c. brown sugar, packed
    1/2 c. milk
    1 1/4 c. Bisquick
    1 c. raisins or chopped dates
    1/2 to 1 c. chopped nuts
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Mix 1 cup brown sugar, water and butter in saucepan.
    Boil 5 minutes; pour into 8-inch square pan.
    Mix rest of ingredients in bowl.
    Spoon batter on top of sugar mixture; it will sink into the liquid and will spread out as it bakes.
    Bake 45 minutes.
    Serve warm with whipped cream or just plain.
