Lemon Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. sugar
1 c. Crisco
1 c. milk
3 c. plain flour
5 tsp. lemon
5 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking powder
Preparation

Cream sugar and Crisco.
Add eggs, one at a time.
Sift flour and baking powder; add to sugar and Crisco, a little at a time. Also add milk a little at a time.
Add flavorings.
Pour in greased tube pan.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
Cool. Remove from pan.
Spread lemon juice and sugar mixture over top.
