Chocolate Rocks - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. shortening
1 egg
2 sq. baking chocolate
1/2 c. milk
1 c. chopped nuts
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. soda
Preparation

Cream shortening and brown sugar; add the slightly beaten egg, then add the melted chocolate and mix until blended.
Add sifted dry ingredients alternately with the milk.
Mix in the chopped nuts.
Drop onto greased cookie sheet and bake in moderate oven (350\u00b0).
Do not overbake.
