M&M Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. shortening or 2 cubes butter
1/2 c. sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
2 eggs
2 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 c. M&M's plain candies
1 tsp. salt

Preparation

Mix shortening, brown sugar and sugar.
Beat in eggs and vanilla.
In another bowl, mix together flour, baking soda and salt.
Mix the second mixture into the first.
Stir in 1/2 cup of M&M's.
Drop rounded teaspoonful of cookie dough 2 inches apart on cookie sheet.
Decorate tops with candies.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
