Vidalia Onion Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. oleo
    4 medium onions, sliced in rings
    25 saltines, crushed
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    2 eggs, beaten
    1/2 to 3/4 c. milk
    1 c. shredded cheese
Preparation
    Melt oleo in a skillet.
    Saute onion over medium heat until clear.
    Place 1/2 of saltine crumbs in the bottom of casserole dish.
    Add 1/2 of sauteed onions to mushroom soup.
    Add 1/2 of milk and spread a layer over onions.
    Add the other 1/2 of onions and then the rest of soup.
    Combine the eggs and the rest of the milk and pour over all.
    Top with crumbs and cheese.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 30 minutes or until slightly brown and bubbly.
