Apricot Pasta - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1/2 lb. butter
2 c. flour
1 (12 oz.) jar apricot jam
Preparation

Preheat oven to 325\u00b0.
Mix cream cheese, butter and flour as for pie crust.
Cut four pieces of waxed paper the size of your cookie sheet.
Divide the dough in half and roll each half out between two layers of waxed paper until entire paper is covered. Refrigerate 15 to 30 minutes.
Place one layer of pastry on greased cookie sheet.
Spread with all of the jam and top with second layer of pastry.
Remove waxed paper as you work.
Brush top of pastry with water and sprinkle with sugar.
Bake 45 minutes or until nicely browned.
Cut in squares.
