Blueberry Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. frozen blueberries (whole, unsweetened)
    1/3 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour or 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1 c. hot water
    2 Tbsp. butter
    3 Tbsp. almond or vanilla flavoring
Preparation
    Measure blueberries.
    In saucepan, combine the sugar with cornstarch or flour and salt.
    Add lemon juice and water; stir until well blended.
    Then bring to a boil over high heat, whisking vigorously.
    Cook until thickened, about 2 minutes.
    Stir in the berries, butter and flavoring.
    Serve warm
    over pound cake, angel cake or ice cream.
